Athena was rather social when a student at Hogwarts. She was a member of the Duelling Club and a Beater for Gryffindor's Quidditch team. After graduating she joined the Auror training program where she served for 20 years before being appointed as the Minister for Magic. She would have met many people people and had several friends.
I'm open to developing backstories with others!
Athena had boyfriends over the years, but has been married once for a few years. The two divorced due to the nature of their jobs and growing apart. She has two children attending Hogwarts and any relationship would require someone who cared for them as well.
It would be nice to have an interest, but I'd love to see it grow organically.
Dark Witches and Wizards are immediately on the enemies list. Growing up her father was a Witch Watcher who hunted down fugitives, and Athena herself was an Auror tasked with finding and apprehending dark magic users. It is difficult to see them as anything but an enemy. She may also have "political" adversaries that do not agree with her more rigid structure when it comes to both the Ministry and keeping a tab on Hogwarts through her Aurors.
Athena is a "warrior" in spirit. She's not afraid to fight for what she believes is right and is not afraid to make enemies along the way. While generally likeable, I can see those who disprove of her ways even if they do seem to be working.
