Overdue Deadlines [Cabhan]

A large body of water, the Great Lake is located to the south of Hogwarts Castle. Students have been known to swim in the lake, despite not only its cold temperature but also its many dangerous magical creatures (the Giant Squid, however, is semi-domesticated).

Overdue Deadlines [Cabhan]

Post by Declan Murphy »

"A single scratch, Dec, and I'll use your face to buff it out," Nuka threatened as she put her keys into Declan's hands.

"I swear on my life, I wouldn't dream of it because I know you're not bluffing," Declan said with a smile, patting her shoulder.

Nuka grunted, shrugging her cousin's hand off, "Don't do anything weird either," she added as she started to walk back inside, shoving her hands in this her coat pockets.

"Love you too, Nuka," he called after her, getting a middle finger in reply causing him to chuckle.

He got on the bike, starting it up, getting it to lift off before moving to where he told Cabhan to meet him. He had this whole evening sort of set up, though he hoped Cabhan remembered the place they were going as well as Declan had. Even if he hadn't, he'd set it up to be a rather romantic set up, he thought, so it would still be nice regardless.

Once he was parked, he shut off the bike, leaning against it while he waited, making sure it was braked properly and everything, not about to start the night off with his first scratch. He looked around then, waiting for Cabhan to come to where he'd told him to meet him.

Their reuniting was...heated... to say the least, but Declan felt the need to do things properly, to give Cabhan a proper date. At least as much of one as he could do during the school year.

Cabhan finished up the last little task in his office before heading back to his sleeping quarters to prepare to meet Declan. He hadn't been super specific about where they were going or what they were doing. So the professor wasn't 'sure how to dress. He put on a pretty basic outfit and slipped his feet into some boots. He remembered the place that Declan had said to meet him and set off to meet in that spot.

He counted his steps, as he normally did, seventeen...eighteen... as he rounded the final corner. His eyes fell on Declan, and it was all he could do to keep from drool dripping down his chin. He was leaned up against a bike, looking especially smoking hot. "You, uh...I mean..." He slowed to a stop in front of the man and looked him up and down. He wiped his chin and smiled, taking in the view. "You look absolutely stunning."

It was in this moment that Cabhan was glad for choosing the boots over his derby shoes. His mind slipped back to their reunion the first time he saw him back at Hogwarts, but only for a brief moment before he forced himself to refocused on the present. "What uh...what's the plan today, Declan?" He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back slightly, not wanting to forget the sight in front of him.

(We'll say Dec is looking like his icon picture to the right here lol)

Declan looked over at Cabhan, unabashedly looking him over and talking him in, "As do you," he mused as he stood up right off the bike, "Seems I know what I need to purchase in the future," he chuckled a little, "I only borrowed this one, but seeing your reaction," he trailed out, tilting his head side to side.

"That being said, we're going for a little ride," Declan smirked, getting onto the bike and patting the seat behind him, offering a helmet, "Humor me," he said with it. Once Cabhan was on, he revved the bike before taking off again, taking them over the lake. He took his time with it, letting them coast over the water, letting Cabhan have a chance to enjoy being on the bike.

After a while, he landed them near an old tower where they used to hang out. It wasn't far from the edge of the lake into the forest, so it had never been insane trying to get to, but always provided for some entertainment. Cabhan might see one of the windows of the tower lit up as if a fire was crackling inside, one towards the top where the roof was open to the stars, "Not enough spots to land up top, but I promise a few stairs is still worth it."

A small smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth. "Thanks." He watched as Declan stood up. "Oh fuck...you purchase one of these..." He trailed off and cleared his throat. "Yes, well." He bit the edge of his lip and ran a hand through his hair. This man had some kind of power over him. He had a way of pulling things out of him that he never thought possible.

"Oh, I go for a ride..." He grinned and walked over. He grabbed the helmet from his hand and slid it over his head. He threw his leg over the bike and wrapped his arms around Delcan tightly. Tighter than they needed to be. At the rev of the bike, Cabhan let out a soft growl. "fuck." His grip tightened even more as the bike took off. They drove over the lake, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. He took it all in as Dec slowed the bike.

Cabhan wore a face of confusion as they landed near the old tower they used to hang out around. "This is where we used hang out..." He tilted his head and looked over at Declan. He slid off the bike and walked towards it. The light in the window didn't get past him as he took in the tower. "I don't mind a few stairs." It was obvious Declan had something planned, and the storm brewing in Cabhan's stomach only furthered his anxiety as to what it was.
