Laguna is part of a lesser known branch of the Lestrange family associated with the Sacred 28. Though his branch is not one that had close ties to anyone notable in the book, the expectations, family history, and bloodline are one that they do have in common. Laguna was born in a coastal village and grew up in a stronghold on the rocky cliffs that overlook both the village and the sea. The village is known for the severe weather and is often isolated due to the dangers the violent sea pose to anyone who dare to challenge it. He is a single child born to Ludwig Lestrange and Aurora Lestrange (formerly of the Yaxley family). He grew up rather isolated as a child until he was old enough to attend Hogwarts. He was sorted into Gryffindor and has been an active member of the quidditch team since his first year. Though he excels in quidditch and in *most* academic area, he falls short of meeting his father's approval which has posed a wedge in the relationship when Laguna was not sorted into the Slytherin house. This led to the current struggle Laguna faces between being proud to be a critical part of Gryffindor's success and being ashamed that he is leading the wrong house to victory.
Personality (1-2 paragraphs or more):
Perhaps due to the extreme isolation he faced as a child, Laguna enjoys the social aspects of school more than the academic side. Still, he does well in most subjects. He relies on his natural ability rather than putting in hard work in his school subjects. Contrary to that, he is extremely competitive and will do just about anything he can to beat any opponent in his path. Since a child he's been an avid quidditch fan and shown extreme promise in his potential to excel in quidditch beyond his Hogwarts years. Though he is eager to socialize and enjoys the spotlight on him, most will find that he only allows others a surface glimpse of who he is, keeping anything that could make him vulnerable to himself.

However, if you were to look close enough, there is a tiny engraved lion on the handle that glimmers lightly in gold, perhaps the job of a student?
